Joshua Rex
I am a post-consumer painter.

My work can best be described as miniature billboards, often times vandalized, in various stages of decomposition. History, anachronism, disposability, and expiration are the major themes in my work.

I work in gouache, acrylic, ink, white-out, and tape on watercolor paper. The result is often something that looks pressed under the pages of a photo album, or on close examination in a petri dish.
